Refunds
In addition to providing opportunities for people to try Goalscape for free prior to purchase (using the Goalscape Demo software and 14-day Goalscape Free Trial), we allow all customers to withdraw from a purchase contract within 14 days without any further preconditions, as long as they have not used the software since their purchase. In such cases we will reimburse their payment in full.
Delivery
The purpose, operation and delivery of the Goalscape software is fully described in text and images (including videos) on our website and in supporting documentation provided with the software.
Goalscape web application (hereinafter referred to as “Goalscape”)
Goalscape is a cloud solution: user projects are on our secure server, accessed in the browser here: https://goalscape.app. Anyone can use the Goalscape Demo software to check out the functionality; and register for the Goalscape Free Trial account, which allows access to the full functionality for 14 days: create goalscapes and edit or view any shared with them by another user. On expiry of the trial period, users may still view their goalscapes; they cannot however make any changes to them.
There is no limit to the number of devices on which users can access Goalscape.
Goalscape Unlimited subscriptions (yearly or monthly) are sold under recurring billing agreements or under corporate deals (for multiple yearly subscriptions). Subscribers have full access to both Goalscape and to the previous Goalscape Online software (note that these are separate products that access different sets of goalscapes, and there is no automatic sync between them).
On expiry or cancellation of a customer’s Unlimited subscription, their access to Goalscape will be view only.
Goalscape Desktop native application (hereinafter referred to as “Offline”)
We deliver the Offline app by direct download from our website. Anyone can use the full functionality in the Offline app (unlimited projects of unlimited size) free of charge for a period of 14 days, at the expiry of which any projects created will be View only.
To continue to use the full functionality in the Offline app beyond the 14-day trial period, users can purchase a Goalscape Online Unlimited Yearly recurring subscription, which includes a perpetual license for the Offline app that allows customers to install and activate the Offline app on 1 machine at a time. The license covers full support, including updates of the Offline app automatically offered for existing installations as they become available. Customers can also Upload projects created in the Offline app to the Online cloud solution and Download their Online projects to their hard drive to open them in the Offline app.
When customers upgrade their hardware they can transfer their license by installing and activating the Offline app on their new computer: that will automatically deactivate the previous installation.
On expiry or cancellation of the customer’s Unlimited Yearly subscription, their use of the Offline app on the existing computer will be unaffected. Updates compatible with the user’s existing environment will continue to be provided FOC; any fixes or updates necessitated by changes in the user’s environment (eg Operating System upgrade that prevents installation or operation of the Offline app) will require a valid Online Unlimited Yearly subscription.
On expiry or cancellation of a customer’s Unlimited subscription, the user’s access to Online will revert to Free user.
Goalscape Enterprise native application (hereinafter referred to as “Enterprise”)
Goalscape Enterprise is delivered according to the terms of specific agreements with each corporate customer.
