World Class Coach and Goalscape Chief Developer Emmett Lazich talks about his 2016 Olympic Challenge
Emmett is entering the hot phase of his 5th Olympic Campaign. With two Gold Medals in the bag (2000 and 2012), he is aiming for a third this year. His team Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen are up against the dominant Kiwis Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, who are unbeaten in the past 2 years. But at the recent World Championships there were signs that the Aussies are closing the gap. There is still a lot to do in the months before the Rio Olympics, and Goalscape helps Emmett to stay on top of the challenges. Here is what he has to say:
“In a job where information and action paths can be totally overwhelming, Goalscape gives me clarity, focus, confidence and above all – sanity. It simplifies my life. If I have self belief, then it is boosted in my athletes, because I have coached them.”
