This is a template for setting your own Life goals.

  • Go through each area: family, work, sports and hobbies and self; or delete any that do not apply and add your own (eg Charity or Political activities) – whatever is in your life should be in your goalscape.
  • Think about why you are doing each of them and what you want to achieve in the long term.
  • Set SMART goals
  • Break your main goals down into the subgoals you need to achieve in order to reach your main goals
  • Set some priorities
  • Make specific plans, with timescales, metrics and milestones (including absolute targets for financial, social, work, fitness and weight, etc)
  • Research any external help you need
  • Mark your progress and celebrate your achievements along the way! Plan a special celebration when you achieve one of your main goals.

    * Configuration Management Plan - This template covers all of the IEEE standard aspects of configuration management, including work product identification, naming, baseline creation, labels, branching, merging, and so on. Typically, one plan is written per release.

    * Design plan - This template's purpose is to capture important aspects of the new or updated design of the system. It provides sections intended to identify how the system is to be changed. Typically one specification is written per feature.

    * Software architecture document - This template provides guidance on the most critical decisions about software design, including components to be designed and relationships among them. Typically, one software architecture document is written per release.

    * Systems architecture document - This template provides guidance on the most critical decisions about the system-level elements and relationships between system-level elements. Typically, one systems architecture document is written per release.

    * Code review - This template explains how to document code review expectations and approach. It also provides questions to ask during a review.
