Hi there. We're extremely happy and a little proud to release our new web version of Goalscape. This is a really quick run-through. You can add goals like you used to be able to in our previous version. You can adjust the relative importances like you used to. You can color your goals in various ways. We have an extra video on showing more of that and on the color themes that we provided. And you can mark your progress like in the previous version.
That's all the same but it's all back in the browser. Now once you've created a Goalscape you know that it's really gratifying and it gives you a lot of overview to see all your goals in one big picture. But it can also get a little bit out of control because you see everything all the time. And we wanted to make it easier to then focus on what matters in the present moment when you're not in strategy and overview mode. But when you are in getting things done mode when you want to focus on what you want to do now.
So we provided tags that with every project that are called now or next tags. You can delete them but you could also add other tags to it. But we find the now and next tags it's super useful because what you can do with it is you can go over here on the left hand side select the focus panel and then you can select the person that is responsible for a given goal set. And that narrows down the number of goals on the right hand side. It highlights the goals that that person is responsible for.
And if you want to know what he's actually working on now well just select the now tag. And below you find a list of just these items and we always try to not have more than one, two, maximum three things on the plate at any given time so we can really focus on the goals that matter most. You can export those such a goal list into the clipboard or print it out whatever you like. But this list is an awesome way to then focus on what matters now. And then you want to do a review on a regular basis maybe once a week and select some next items so that you always have some items to choose from.
So that's just a really quick run through Goalscape. There's another video where we show you how to migrate projects into this new version and we hope you like it and we're looking forward for your feedback.
